What If It Wasn’t Meant to Be?

Let’s Talk About Life

What do you think? Or rather, about life’s journey.

We often repeat a familiar phrase, and I’m sure each of us has said it at least once after making a choice, using it as a source of comfort:

“It was meant to be.”

But was it, really?

I don’t quite understand that phrase. Personally, I would rather say:

“It had to happen.”

It had to happen because of the choices I made.

How many of us have realized that life is a BOOK?

We are the authors.

The moment we are born, we receive some of life’s greatest gifts: a book, love, and free will—the freedom to choose.

That is how I see it.

The book of life’s journey.

Every day is a blank page waiting to be written.

It is no coincidence that every period we go through is called a CHAPTER.

Page after page.Chapter after chapter. We write our own story.

Let’s be honest.

Some chapters are sad. Some are painful. Some are frightening. Some are beautiful.

Call them whatever you like.

There are countless words we could use.

But what does it matter once a chapter comes to an end, regardless of how it ends?

We begin the next one.

And that is a new beginning.

How will we begin?

Will we keep trying to rewrite the previous chapter, or will we choose a different direction?

If I am to be honest, even a chapter with a sad ending is a gift.

A great one.

Pause for a moment.

Reflect.

Ask yourself…

Should we keep hoping that the next chapter will somehow change on its own?

Or should the author choose a new direction for the protagonist?

The choice is entirely ours.

This is where free will comes in.

You choose the characters. The genre. The roles.

And, perhaps most importantly, how you interpret your own story.

Ever since I began looking at life through the prism of love, I have realized how beautiful it truly is—a palette of colours, filled with countless different worlds.

And we, too, are part of someone else’s story.

How incredible is that?

Everyone sees through their own prism.

Take what resonates with you.

Remember, you are not alone.
